I can remember {as a child} looking at photographs and imagining the story that goes along with each individual photo. Black & white photos have always been so intriguing to me. Seeing my grandmother as a child, growing up, and marrying my grandfather, much of their lives were captured in photos.
I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. I asked my parents for a camera and the fun began. A little later {trying to broaden my abilities} I started off {just being a normal mommy} taking tons and tons of pictures of my children. As I learned more about photography {I bought better equipment} and found a new story behind each photograph that I took. I love candid shots; shots of children playing, a couple sharing their first kiss of their married life {even a couple sharing a kiss after a long deployment or on their 50th wedding anniversary!!!!} Snuggling and giggling are my favorite moments to capture. My friends and family have allowed me in to capture their memories for them and help make their photographs the {ART WORK} that hangs on the walls of their home.
I graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I love working with people and getting to know everyone I meet. While dabbling here and there {photographing everything possible} I decided to follow my <3 and take on the profession full time. I have had the greatest experiences getting to know new people, reconnecting with old friends, and having the opportunity to spend more time watching my children grow.
I have four {WONDERFUL and AMAZING} children that are very active and are the center of my life. Being a mother is definitely one of the most difficult and rewarding things I will ever do or be {and for that, I am extremely thankful!!!!!}
